A multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to design and implement real-time motion control systems for complex electro-mechanical platforms. This role involves developing control algorithms that enable precise tracking, stabilization, and performance in dynamic, real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and tune real-time control algorithms (PID, feedforward, observers).
- Design control architectures: loop shaping, filtering, and estimation.
- Simulate system dynamics in MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
- Collaborate on actuator, sensor, and system dynamics modeling.
- Integrate control logic into embedded software (C/C++).
- Conduct time- and frequency-domain analysis for validation.
- Support HITL testing and field commissioning.
Qualifications:
- B.S./M.S. in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3–7 years in electro-mechanical control systems development.
- Strong foundation in control theory and simulation tools.
- Experience with embedded implementation and motion planning.
- Comfortable working across mechanical and electrical domains.
