Lead DevOps Engineer - Climate Tech - London / Cambridge
Lead DevOps at a fast-growing climate-tech company shaping the future of energy planning. You’ll own AWS platform automation, containerisation, CI/CD, data migrations, developer experience, and reliability - working directly with the CTO to modernise and scale the entire platform.
What you’ll lead
- Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation
- Containerised deployments with ECS + Fargate
- CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions)
- PostgreSQL & DynamoDB migrations
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Local dev tooling + smoother developer workflows
What you bring
- 5+ years DevOps/Infra experience
- Deep AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
- Strong IaC (CloudFormation), Docker, CI/CD
- Experience with large data migrations (PostgreSQL/DynamoDB)
- Strong scripting + automation skills
Nice to have: Terraform, Kubernetes, geospatial data, SRE experience, DataDog/Grafana, FinOps.
