The Role
As a Principal Consultant (Energy Modeller) you will lead the design and delivery of optimisation and whole-system energy models. Working across clients, engineers, and data scientists, you'll turn complex data into actionable insights that drive real-world net-zero strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Develop and refine optimisation models for energy, heat, and transport systems.
 - 
Translate client needs into technical solutions and software integrations.
 - 
Lead workshops, feasibility studies, and stakeholder engagement.
 - 
Contribute to research and mentor junior consultants.
 
Skills & Experience
- 
Degree in Physics, Engineering, Maths, or similar.
 - 
Experience in optimisation or whole-system energy modelling.
 - 
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
 - 
Bonus: Agile delivery or Python/GAMS modelling experience.
