Electronics Engineer – Product & Systems Development
I’m recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering consultancy working across a diverse portfolio of technically demanding product and systems development projects. Their clients span multiple sectors, and the work focuses on turning complex technical requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions.
The environment suits engineers who enjoy variety, autonomy, and solving real engineering problems rather than working on repetitive product updates. Engineers work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design, prototype, and refine advanced electronic solutions for commercial applications.
What they’re looking for
They are keen to speak with engineers who combine strong technical foundations with practical, hands-on experience. Ideal candidates will bring experience in:
- Electronic design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and sourcing
- Hands-on PCB assembly, modification, and prototyping work
- Circuit inspection and debugging using standard lab equipment
Additional experience that would strengthen an application includes:
- Embedded firmware development
- Exposure to mechanical or cross-discipline product development
- Experience with simulation tools or RF concepts
- Ability to design within real-world constraints such as thermal, mechanical, and power limitations
- A practical eye for clean, efficient, manufacturable design
