Staff Software Engineer required to play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the core systems that power the product of an exciting, VC backed AI start-up in London. As a Staff Software Engineer you will set the technical direction, collaborate with other engineers to deliver elegant, high-performance solutions to complex problems and help maintain a culture of excellence and ownership.
About you:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (preferably in start-ups or high-growth environments).
- Expertise in Go, Python, C++, Java, C# or Rust.
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and modern cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven ability to lead technical projects end-to-end.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in early-stage startups or building 0→1 products.
