Electronic Design Engineer

A growing start-up based in Sheffield is on the hunt for an Electronics Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge products across a wide range of tech-for-good industries. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team delivering ethically-driven engineering solutions with real-world impact.
This role is open to all levels of experience from graduate to senior.
What you’ll bring
Essential
- Proven electronic design skills (component selection, schematics, PCB layout, procurement)
- Hands-on PCB assembly and modification
- Circuit inspection & debugging
- Strong academic background
Nice to have
- Embedded firmware (C/C++, Python)
- Mechanical design familiarity, especially with CAD and GD&T frameworks
- Experience balancing electronic design within physical constraints
- Prior understanding of working to different clients’ specifications
- A passion for elegant and practical design
