The role
You’ll work across manual and automated testing, covering new and legacy platforms. You’ll be involved in:
- Functional, regression, system and performance testing
- Creating and maintaining automated and manual test cases
- Defect identification, investigation and reporting
- API, backend and system-level testing
- Working closely with software, hardware and systems engineers
- Improving test processes, tools and automation
- Mentoring junior Test Engineers
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years’ experience in manual and automation testing
- Background in embedded, telecoms or mission-critical technology
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, JUnit or TestNG
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related field
- ISTQB desirable, not essential
Experience with 4G, 5G, LTE, DMR protocol testing or communications interfaces is a bonus.
